CLINICAL DIRECtor

Rebecca Higgins

Rebecca is a highly experienced Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist with a deep commitment to trauma-informed, relational care. Her work is grounded in advanced training and a passion for supporting clients through complex emotional and relational challenges.

She holds a Bachelor of Counselling and is a candidate in the Master of Science in Medicine—Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy program at the University of Sydney. Rebecca is a Level 4 registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). She is also a member of the ACA College of Supervisors and Clinical Counsellors.

Rebecca is certified through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) as a Certified Sex Addiction and Trauma Specialist (CSAT), a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), and a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (CMAT). She is also a registered EMDR Consultant with both EMDRAA and EMDRIA, offering advanced EMDR therapy and clinical consultation.

Rebecca’s Expertise

Her areas of expertise include sex addiction, partner betrayal trauma, dissociative disorders, complex PTSD, and diagnosed personality disorders. She is psychodynamically trained, with a particular focus on attachment theory, the Conversational Model, and the treatment of complex trauma. In addition to evidence-based modalities, Rebecca integrates Equine Assisted Learning, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and Family Constellations into her practice to support holistic and transformational healing.

CLINICAL Counsellor

Mia Yeung

Mia is a highly qualified counsellor with a deep commitment to relational, evidence-based care. She brings over two decades of practice, working across a broad range of settings with individuals navigating emotional, psychological, educational and life challenges. Mia’s practice is grounded in advanced training as a counsellor and a strong foundation in developmental and psychological science. She takes an integrative, trauma-informed, and relational approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based frameworks to support clients through a wide range of emotional, psychological, and relational challenges across all stages of life.

She holds a Master of Counselling [JCU], a Master of Educational Psychology [UNSW], and a Master of Childhood Development [Macquarie University]. Mia is currently completing a Clinical Psychology degree, which will enable her to provide advanced psychological assessment and intervention for a wide range of mental health concerns. Mia is a Level 2 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).

Mia’s Expertise

Mia’s therapeutic work is informed by a rich understanding of brain development, neuroplasticity, and the way experiences shape emotional regulation, cognition, and identity formation. She is particularly attuned to how life transitions interact with mental health, supporting clients to build insight, resilience, and self-agency.

With specialist training in life-span development, Mia provides sensitive, developmentally appropriate support to young people and families. At the same time, she works closely with adults experiencing anxiety, PTSD, mood difficulties, trauma, and identity concerns. Her practice integrates neuroscience, evidence-based modalities, and a strong relational foundation.

Dixie the Therapy Dog

Dixie our beloved therapy dog, brings warmth and comfort to our therapeutic environment. Her gentle presence and intuitive nature offer a unique source of support and emotional relief for clients, enhancing their healing journey in a comfortable environment.

Guiding Healing Journeys

Since 2015, Rebecca has been the Clinical Director and owner of the Radiant Group. She has developed and led multi-day intensive outpatient programs for PTSD, trauma, addictions, and complex trauma. Rebecca's commitment to healing shines through in her methodical approach, working with clients to set and achieve their treatment goals. She uses a variety of evidence-based counselling models to tailor treatments for people of all ages and backgrounds.
